Vintage Kantha Quilt Pet Bed W/Cushion

This product is made by reusing used kantha quilts. Kantha is a traditional handicraft that originated in Eastern India, where old saris (traditional women's clothing), loincloths, and scraps are layered and finely stitched. They are hand-sewn for use as bedding and floor coverings in the home, not as a commercial product, and no two are exactly alike. As the quilts are made by layering multiple thin layers of fabric, the longer they are used, the more the upper layers of fabric wear away, revealing the layers underneath, creating a unique color gradation and pattern. Each bed is one of a kind, what you receive may vary from the photos.
