Heavy Water Coffee 12 oz Bag - El Puente Special Selection

The latest offering from Heavy Water comes to you from the Huila region of southern Colombia. The coffee gets its name from processing facility called El Puente. Over ninety families from the vicinity produce coffee on their farms and deliver it to El Puente. This pilot project is supported by community investments in the sustainable development of rural areas. This project helps reduce the amount of work and risk smallholder producers take on to process coffee during the peak of harvest.

This specific coffee was labeled a “special selection” by the producer as it was hand sorted for defects multiple times during the drying process. The 40 hour fermentation gives this coffee very distinct flavors of orange candy, fudge, and a nice brown sugar sweetness.
